Banazan Rambling:

This is the first volume in the Banazan Records Presents series and lucky number 13 release for the label. Released as limited edition of less than 50 cd-r copies. Remastered by Billy Armijo in February 2005. The Faeries never sounded so good.

I'm a big fan of cover songs. They keep songs alive and relevant. "Head Over Heels" and "Outdoor Miner" were the first songs I ever recorded (in the late 90's). I used an Apple Plaintalk microphone and a Cubase demo software that came with my Performa 6500. The computer was too slow for realtime recording, so the result was an echo (very apparent at the beginning of "Outdoor Miner") masked by reverb and multiple guitar and vocal tracks. At the time I had never heard Lush's cover of "Outdoor Miner," but I thoroughly enjoyed it once I did. Like "The Worm," it is a very special song about a bug.

"Shy No More" (2003)was previously released as part of the BSBTA EP Club (Sept 03). It is my favorite original song from The Faeries. "The Worm" (2004) as well as the other three tracks has been reworked and given away over the years to friends and now they are available for everyone's enjoyment.

The covers were printed by Pinball Publishing and customized by me and my trusty laserjet.
