The Mysterious Poufs were birthed in the year 2000 on the island of Montreal by MB, assisted by MM, JL and TG.
It began in the most tentative way, as a trial recording of two or three pop songs on a lazy day of autumn. But The Mysterious Poufs’ repertoire is much broader than most people realize. It contains a few score obligatory and enduring favourites, but it has never been defined or restricted by irrevocable decree. The additions made to it are largely determined by the musical apparel of the moment, although requests by the public lead to the occasional adoption of unexpected items.
Their first full length, “Simple Songs from a Simpleton” was an honest and draft exercise in naiveté. Their second full length “WNRTTROTMPR” is (please read album description as it becomes available). Next year their third album will see the day, and then will come their fourth effort, which will be released probably a year before their fifth opus comes to life.
