If you click on this website, you'll have the opportunity to change your ears forever. The sonic splendor that awaits you can be had at this very website: http://www.banazan.com/ban029.html
What if I told you this sonic splendor was $100? You would by one copy...wouldn't you?
What if I told you it was $50? You would buy 5 copies and share one with your friend Sally. You like Sally, don't you?
What if I told you this sonic splendor was just $14? I very much think you'd buy 8 of them. 2 of those are for Sally, since you like her so much.
But wait!!!
What if I told you that if you lived in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA or are one of our FRIENDLY NEIGHBORS TO THE NORTH your ears could feast on this fine compact disc for just $12.
Yes, I said $12.
And we'll deliver it directly to your door. No more brain numbing ear fatigue from those poorly processed mp3s. You don't even have to wait for them to popup on those peer to peer sharing services. DIRECTLY TO YOUR DOOR.
If I told you all this I think you'd get 10 of them. And if you do live outside the United States, your currency is currently overtaking the dollar, so you could by TWENTY FIVE copies and still come out ahead and you'd be telling your pals at Banazan how much you appreciate them.
The Bedsit Infamy's long awaited album, "Lungs, My Heart. Blood, My Stomach" is available on a very limited basis as a preorder. The pre-release date for preoders is mid-February, the full release is in April. The reason you should preorder is that YOU GET A T-SHIRT. That's right...this is the first time we're selling t-shirts. We want to make sure we get enough for everybody, so order sooner rather than later!

Happy Summer!
Wow.
It's been a long time since we've checked in with you all!
We have those Eeriephone releases as well as the Oh Dark Thirty "Metrar" CDs in stock, but haven't updated the store yet to reflect this. In the meantime, if you'd like to get your hands on these releases (or just want to say "hi"), you can inquire via the contact form.
Other goings on: If you hadn't already noticed, My Teenage Stride is all over the place right now (their latest release is on Becalmed in the UK and available from fine stores everywhere). We had the pleasure of seeing them all the way over here in California on their US tour last month and they were in top form.
We've slowed down over the Summer, but are methodically plodding through the daily operations of the label. If you've noticed we aren't as zippy as usual, please have a chocolate milkshake or your favorite libation and think happy thoughts for us. Slow and steady wins the race.
Releases from the Urchins, Thee Moths, and The Bedsit Infamy are in the works.
Also, Ruby kind of wants to get some t-shirts made and would like to know if anyone wants one. If you do, clicky that contact form and let us know if this is a good idea or not.
Banazan loves you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!
Banazan is FIVE years old today!
This year will be a bit of a shift for this ambitious DIY label we call Banazan. We're focusing on developing our existing roster and only doing a few larger releases this year. There will be more effort spent on distributing our artists' other releases and promoting the back catalog. You might also see more Banazan releases popping up for download on various MP3 stores and websites.
Banazan continues to resonate with an international audience, so we will continue to focus on our UK and European artists as well as North American.
We've decided to stay true and keep things small and DIY for now. Thanks everyone for your support and for purchasing records (especially the vinyl)!
On the boring administrative level:
We have a backlog of orders we're shuffling through, so if you've ordered something in the last two weeks and wondering where it is...it will find you soon!
New stuff:
We just got in some new Tissø Lake CD-R's released on Red Woodsman Records in the UK. The album is called "A Coronet" and there are two different cover styles in lovely handmade packaging. We'll have these up for sale soon, but if you'd like one sooner, use the contact form and we'll give you more ordering details.
Some new (old) stuff from Eeriephone Records in the UK will be coming in soon, as well. This is Dan (from the Duds) label. If you have not heard "The Myriad Contortions of Yolande Mehwengwe" yet, then I'm afraid your life isn't complete.
A few of the long, lost copies of Oh Dark Thirty's "Metrar" have landed into our possession as well. These will be surfacing sometime soon as well.
We're working on a new addition to the "Banazan Presents" series from The Urchins (France) that fans of pure indiepop are sure to love. It will stick to the four song EP format and will be a nice introduction to this great band.
Things are lovely here in southern California and we're looking forward to settling into another great year.
Thanks everyone!
